i have used that exact same blue yarn, the spools arent very good though. we had to turn it into a ball. and we didnt save much yarn. (spools get tangeled up alot inside.)

Gosh words don’t seem adequate to say how grateful I am to you for posting your videos. I am just in awe at the amazing patterns and stitches you can do , and make it seem so easy, that my confidence level has grown by leaps and bounds, and I am now ready to venture out into some new projects beyond dc scarfs, and sc pot holders. Again Thank You so very much!

I would if I knew how to knit.

  • juicyroom

can you put some knitting videos please

  • tjw1963

I appreciate the comment. You can work a chain instead of the foundation row. You can end the scarf with a row of single crochet so both ends match.

  • divinizza

Teresa, I love the look of this pattern and am trying it now, the foundation row almost blinded me, lol. Just one thing, I love the sturdy look of the foundation row, but how will I make it look the same at the end of the scarf? You’re the best on the web; amazingly talented. We all love you over here.

This is one the most beautiful stiches I have learned in crocheting. I made a mobius (infinity) scarf and it looks great. You are a great teacher.

I have not worked through a pattern for a hat with this stitch yet.

I would suggest that you go to your local yarn store and find something that you like.

Size i/5.5mm crochet hook acrylic yarn. This stitch can be done with different size hooks and yarns.

  • shawho

also.. how many rolls of each color did you go through to produce 1 of the scarfs?

  • shawho

what size hook did you use? also. is it a nylon based yarn or cotton?
